Experimental Gameplay Project April

The Experimental Gameplay Project for April has just ended, with 25 entries to show for it. They were developed over the month along the theme of "Repeat". All entries are now prettily exhibited like shop displays over at the website and free for download.

Full Report

The experimental gameplay project has spawned some great titles over its last few iterations, some of which like Redivider and 10 Second War we reviewed over here at IndieReview and gave excellent ratings to. I am certain to say this month's entries will be no different - looking from the list of cool screenshots and descriptions, I am already looking forward to the next few weeks of playing and writing about games. More so than usual anyway.

There are some hits already over at the site that were discovered before the month ended. We have already covered Soundfight, which is a really cool concept that isn't really a game. Other notable entries that I really recommend trying right now after reading this are Auto Cannibalism, One to Tango and Line Patterns. I hate to shamelessly promote myself, but my game Restricted Recall might also pique your interest if you are the puzzle-ly kind of gamer.

Although we will definitely try to cover as many games as we can from the line-up over the next week or so, you shouldn't need to wait that long before heading over and trying the cool titles out. In fact, you should do so now.
